VeriflowAPI ("we", "our", "us", or "the Service") is a medical license verification API operated by an individual developer. The Service provides programmatic access to publicly available government databases for the purpose of verifying professional licenses.
By accessing or using VeriflowAPI you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use this Service. By using VeriflowAPI you represent that you meet these requirements.
VeriflowAPI is intended for business use. By using the Service you represent that you are using it for legitimate business purposes related to professional license verification.
Upon approval of your account you will receive an API key. You are responsible for:
You may not share, sell, or transfer your API key to any third party without our written consent. Each customer receives one API key per plan. Additional keys are available on Enterprise plans.

Important: VeriflowAPI provides verification data sourced from public government databases. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that our data is complete, current, or error-free at all times.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Early access accounts include 100 free verification checks. After your free checks are used, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time.
We target 99.9% API uptime. This SLA applies to our API availability and does not guarantee the availability of any specific government data source. When source sites are unavailable we serve cached data as described in our documentation.
We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance, which we will announce in advance where possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice.
VeriflowAPI, including our API, documentation, website, and brand, is our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
The underlying government data we provide access to is publicly available and not our intellectual property. Our value is in the aggregation, normalization, and reliable delivery of that data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriflowAPI and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VeriflowAPI and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to VeriflowAPI at any time if:

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active customers of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
These Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and VeriflowAPI regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
